Il calcestruzzo strutturale (Structural Concrete) indica oggi insieme le strutture e i materiali compresi in quelli chiamati un tempo cemento armato, non armato o precompresso, nonch\u00e9 i nuovi materiali a matrice cementizia, di gran lunga i pi\u00f9 comuni nelle infrastrutture e nell’edilizia, in Italia e nel mondo. Gli impieghi odierni riguardano non solo le nuove costruzioni, ma sempre pi\u00f9 recupero, conservazione, rinforzo, riqualificazione dell’esistente e adeguamento sismico. I requisiti coprono nuovi aspetti nel quadro della sostenibilit\u00e0, con salvaguardia dell’ambiente, durabilit\u00e0, possibilit\u00e0 di adattamento e di reimpiego delle opere e\/o dei materiali. I modi di costruire evolvono continuamente, avvalendosi di nuovi mezzi d’opera, idee, tecnologie, strumenti di analisi teorica e sperimentale, criteri di valutazione, norme per garantire prestazioni misurabili sempre pi\u00f9 mirate. Il materiale stesso ha subito notevolissimi sviluppi, differenziandosi per i vari impieghi specifici, fino ai molteplici calcestruzzi odierni, ai vari leganti, agli additivi e alle nuove armature, metalliche o composite. \/ Structural Concrete today indicates together the structures and materials included in those once called reinforced, unreinforced or prestressed concrete, as well as the new cement matrix materials, by far the most common in infrastructures and construction, in Italy and in the world. Today’s uses concern not only new buildings, but increasingly recovery, conservation, reinforcement, redevelopment of the existing and seismic adaptation. The requirements cover new aspects in the context of sustainability, with environmental protection, durability, the possibility of adaptation and reuse of the works and \/ or materials. The ways of building evolve continuously, making use of new means of work, ideas, technologies, theoretical and experimental analysis tools, evaluation criteria, standards to ensure increasingly targeted measurable performance. The material itself has undergone remarkable developments, differing in its various specific uses, up to the many present-day concretes, various binders, additives and new metal or composite reinforcements.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n
